Biggest Loser Week 8

It's already week 8 and now I really need to focus. This week I feel I slacked. I had the best intensions in the beginning of the week then I lose it and I don't mean pounds. Well, I did lose 2 pounds and that is awesome but I feel I could of lost more if I staid on track. I got 3 workouts in but not the 5 I wanted and in the beginning of the week I ate very well but I ate out 4 times this week and 3 restaurants and 1 fast food. The hubby works shift work and when he is off he always wants to eat out!  To top it off or call it karma but I was eating really well then the first day we went out I had Mexican food. OMG I felt so sick!! I don't know what it was but I think it was from all the grease and oils they used but I wanted to puke. I know shame on me. Anyways besides those eating out meals everything else I ate was pretty healthy and there were times I wanted to just munch on something (chips & salsa or anything with cheese) but there wasn't anything to munch on in the house so that was good. I made it that way on purpose.

My weekend recap
Saturday I woke up with a  pounding headache that wouldn't go away. Every time I moved my head the headache would move so that determined  I had a sinus headache and sinus pressure. On top of that I had tons of homework due Sunday night so I had to try to get some done. (procrastinated big time this week)Didn't get much done.

Sunday I woke up to an even worse headache but I had so much homework it didn't matter. It took me about 4-5 hours to do my homework and my headache just got worse as the day went on. I took medicine we even sat in the Jacuzzi but nothing. So I have been up all night with this damn pain in the ass headache and can't seems to get rid of it.

Favorite of the week!!
Almost everyday for breakfast I have been drink this smoothie. It is Carnation breakfast powder no sugar added Milk Chocolate, with a cup of almond milk, a banana, and ice. I LOVE it!!! I love crunching on ice so it really helps when I have the munchies and it fills me up and taste so good.

Hubby said he would go on the diet with me but he is making it difficult. He has been off since Thursday and still hasn't gone to the gym but at least he is eating the healthy food I cook for him when he isn't begging to out and eat.

Biggest Loser: Week 7

I can't believe it is week 7 already.
Where did February go?
 I haven't even updated since week 3.
Sorry guys life hit me with moving in with friends then finally getting in to our apartment. Oh and school has taken up a lot of my time. If you have been reading my blogs you know that I finally got my husband to agree to go on a diet with me. I also have recruited my sister in law. She is only 15 but has been struggling her weight since she was little but hasn't really had the support to lose it. Not just that she doesn't really know the proper way to work out in the gym. So I am here to help her and me of course. I have always known how to lose weight just haven't had the motivation to do so. I tried to explain to her there is no magic pill or secret diet out there like people are trying to tell her. I told her it is simple calories in calories out. Well simple to say and understand but a struggle to do and I fully understand. I also know how hard it is to lose weight while every one in the house is drinking soda, eating chip, and cookies daily in front of you. I told her I will be her support and motivation to do it. I also told her there will be no excuses. She was like well what if I don't have a ride to your house to work out. My answer I WILL COME PICK YOU UP.

Sunday morning I woke up at 5:30 am to workout before my husband went to work. I did pretty good for my first work out since November and I got to use my heart rate monitor for the first time.

I felt good during the workout on the elliptical but then I went on the dread mill and was running/walking for a mile everything was fine until the end when I was running the last little bit my hip started to hurt. When I stopped everything was ok. I stretched went home took a shower and sat down to do my homework but when I got up to walk I was in so much pain I didn't want to walk. I took some ibuprofen and took a nap but when I woke up the medicine didn't do a thing. I was in bed all day.

Back in November I started to do insanity and every once in awhile my hip would hurt but I thought it was just sore from the work out but after I stopped working out I was still getting the pain every once in a while. If I sat wrong or too long it would get stiff and start hurting but never as bad as Sunday. Monday wasn't as bad but I didn't want to walk around too much but after I started picking up the house it loosened up and didn't feel too bad. I looked up hip pain and the 2 things that I think it could be say its not serious and it eventually will go away on its own but may take weeks or months but I haven't done any workout since November and my concern is its already been months.

I convinced my sister in law to go to the gym with me and I decided to only do the bike for 30 min then do some arm work outs.

After my work out I wasn't hurting like I did the day before and this morning it wasn't too bad but I still feel like the annoying soreness in my hip. I want to go see a doctor but I want to see a sports doctor and the nearest one in my small down is an hour and a half away.

I had a NSV today. I went to the grocery store starving (should never do that) but I got everything healthy and when I got home I made a turkey burger for lunch and everything was only 280 calories. Another workout tonight. Lets see how this one goes.

Hubby is joining me!!!

I am so excited. Every time I tried to lose weight I had to do it on my own. I did lose 30 pounds in 2 months once on my own but it was hard because I was living in a house full of people eating junk. This time my husband has agreed to go on a diet with me! We just moved into our new apartment a week ago and there is a 24 hour gym here so that helps. More exciting news is my dad sent me some money for my birthday and I bought a Ninja!

I am super excited about it and I can't wait. I even got some smoothies ingredients today!

I live in this really small town that has nothing. Unless you lived like I have in a big city then move to a little town you may not understand but when I saw this I wanted to squeal. I loved Jamba Juice when I lived in California and Razzmatazz was my favorite! So I can't wait to try out the Ninja and my new smoothie.

Friday night I went on a dinner date with my husband and son.

Oh and we tried out the new Jacuzzi!

I am going to try and attempt to get up early in the morning before my husband goes to work and try out the new gym. We will see how that goes. I got some new work out pants to motivate me. I will let you all know.

Sorry if this is too much for some but I thought it was funny!

I'm back!

That's right I am finally back!!!
We got our keys to our new apartment on the 8th, my birthday was the 9th, and I have been trying to move in by myself because my husband has been working. He was off Sunday so we got some bigger items in but the apartment is still kind of empty. I finally got our internet and cable turn on last night. Thank goodness because I have online classes and now I have a lot to catch up on. I have been driving to Arby's to do my homework and quizzes. Ya Arby's to do school work. That's really good on my diet. So bad news is I gained a pound. The good news is it was only a pound! I was expecting more because we ate out a lot!

I am still trying to get stuffed moved in and  catch up on school but I am able to cook dinner at home finally. Once everything is moved in I will be taking advantage the 24 hour gym the apartments provide. I will let you know how it goes. Maybe take a picture of my sweatiness on one of the machines.

Here is a picture of my son taking a bath in his very own bathtub.

This kid cracks me up. He told his daddy that if he had to poop he had to go in his bathroom because he stinks lol. Kids say the darnedest things.

Thanks to the people that have been sticking around letting me vent in my last couple of post. Positives coming soon!

Sometimes I just want to scream!

This might be a little venting...Sorry I will try and look at the positive stuff at the end to help me change my mood but right now I am tired of everything going wrong!!!

I haven't weighed my self because I know it will be bad
Too much eating out.
We are living with our friends right now and it seems like my husband prefers to eat out. We just don't want to cause more trouble for our friends. They have 3 kids in the house and one on the way. Not to mention us with our little one. It's a house full. I am extremely grateful though because we would be staying in a motel room if it wasn't for them.

Problem 1
We were told we can move into our new apartment February 8 the only problem is my husband will be working from 8-8(day shift) so he can't been there to sign the lease and he has to be there. So we might not be able to sign it until February 11. Bad part is he goes on graveyards from 8-8. He will be able to sign the papers but I have to move that week by myself. Plus I babysit an autistic boy during the week. (upstairs apartment with 2 toddlers)

Problem 2
My son has to get an EEG, EKG, and blood work. He is ok just the doctor wants to check him out before he puts him on medicine. Well bad news the EEG cost $471 and the EKG $380 and that is with insurance. Don't know what the blood work is going to cost us. Not to mention we have to pay our rent for the apartment this week as well. We just moved the test for next pay period so not everything is in the same week. Don't get me wrong I am extremely grateful that my son is healthy and most people have way worse medical bills. This is just me venting.

Problem 3
I just started college this semester and all my classes are online. We don't have internet so I have to makes sure I do my homework whenever I get the chance. When we move into the new apartment I know I wont be able to get internet right away because it always takes a week or two for them to come and hook it up.

I know I am blessed with an amazing loving husband and a healthy lovable son. My family is happy and healthy and that is all that matters but sometimes we can get in a rut.

Here are the good things going on.
I do have a place to live until the apartment is ready.
My husband has a good job that he likes.
I am able to be a stay at home mom.
I just started college.
My school started a biggest loser challenge. $20 a team. 2 people a team.
The apartments have a business center so I can do my homework until our internet is put in.
There will be a 24 gym at the apartments and I can't wait!
My birthday is on the 9th.

If your still reading this thank you for sticking around and letting me vent. I will try and put a happier post soon.

Here is my handsome son with his new hair cut. He loves subway. He asks for it everyday!
